Meet our Korean Heugja Ceramic Black Gaiwan, S, wheelthrown and handmade by a ceramist in Korea. This is a lidded tea brewing cup for loose tea leaves so you do not need a teapot. This is a perfect size for drinking alone. The traditional way to use the brewing cup is to brew your tea and to pour the brewed tea liquid into either a serving pitcher or directly into your tea cup. It's sturdy but light enough to hold with one hand. Black clay ("Heugja" in Korean) makes a beautiful natural texture, glazed with transparent glaze.
