Black clay (Heugja in Korean) makes a beautiful natural texture, and adding characteristics to that, the outer surface is dipped in white-clay slip, a technique called Dumbung buncheong (덤벙분청). This is a unique form of pottery to Korea. The bowl is glazed in transparent glaze. The cups are perfect for serving matcha, makkeoli, rice or dessert.
