Meet our Japanese Koishiwara-Yaki Ceramic Katakuchi Mini Bowl, handcrafted by Tetsuzo and Kei Ota. Katakuchi meaning "a mouth on one side" in Japanese, this mini bowl is a classic pouring vessel perfect for serving milk for your coffee and matcha, salad dressing, oil or sauce. Or simply use it as a bean bowl. 

Taking over the tradition of Koishiwarayaki, the two-craftmen-run kiln makes everyday ceramic ware using traditional techniques and glazes. While making every day ware for practical use, they continue to preserve the spirit of the Japanese folk art.
