Located in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, Shigaraki is one of Japan's six old kilns, with a history that goes back 1260 years. In 1976, Shigaraki-yaki (Shigaraki ware) was designated as a traditional craft in Japan. The tea cup is a beautiful vessel for drinking your favorite sencha, hojicha or any brewed tea you'd like.
