Meet ourJapanese Shigaraki Ceramic Cloud White Tea Bowl, handcrafted in Shiga Prefecture in Japan. Located in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, Shigaraki is one of Japan's six old kilns, with a history that goes back 1260 years. In 1976, Shigaraki-yaki (Shigaraki ware) was designated as a traditional craft in Japan. The bowl comes in a cloud white color and has a airy feel to it. It is a beautiful addition to your tea bowl collection. On the bottom surface of the bowl is potter's mark. Each comes beautifully packaged in a branded paper box, thus perfect for gifting.
