Japanese Shigaraki Ceramic Cup, Brown

Meet our Japanese Shigaraki Ceramic Cup, handcrafted in Shiga Prefecture in Japan. Located in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, Shigaraki is one of Japan's six old kilns, with a history that goes back 1260 years. In 1976, Shigaraki-yaki (Shigaraki ware) was designated as a traditional craft in Japan. The earthy tone and texture allows a beautiful tactile experience of holding and drinking tea or coffee out of the cup. The cup comes beautifully packaged in a paper box, thus perfect for gifting.
