Japanese Yomitanyama Small Ceramic Vase

Meet our Japanese Yomitanyama Small Ceramic Vase, handcrafted by Kyoji Matsuda of the Yomitan North Kiln. Fired only four times a year, Yomitan North Kiln, a climbing kiln, is jointly operated by four masters and has attracted attention from all around the world. The slightly thick feel of the pottery made from five types of soil has a unique aesthetic. The shape of the vase is unique to Okinawa.

Since this piece was fired in a climbing kiln, it is characterized by its unevenness compared to pieces fired in electric kilns.
