Korean Buncheong Ceramic Silver-Footed Mini Cup

Meet our Korean Buncheong Ceramic Silver-Footed Mini Cup, wheel thrown and handmade in Korea by a ceramist. The cups were fired in a kiln after being brushed with white clay, which is one of the decorative feature of Buncheong ware unique to Korea, and then glazed with transparent glaze and fired in the kiln for the second time. Then, the stems were coated with silver and fired for the third time. By nature, silver does oxidize and leaves patina which can be easily cleaned with baking soda. These cups are perfect for serving sake, soju or tea.
